Do you have to Brine Prawns before cooking them

A quick brine before you cook prawns can make sure they’re plump and juicy, no matter how you plan to cook them. You only need to let the prawns sit in the brine for as little as fifteen minutes and you’ll lock in moisture, add a little flavour and preserve a firm texture.

How to Cook Prawns in a Frying Pan

Heat olive oil in a heavy frying pan over high heat until very hot. Place prawns in an even layer on the bottom of the pan and cook for 1 minute without stirring. Season prawns with salt; cook and stir until they begin to turn pink, about 1 minute. Stir in garlic and red chilli flakes; cook and stir 1 minute.
